City of Sydney’s grants and sponsorships applications are now open

The City wants to support ideas from local organisations and businesses that will benefit the local community

Businesses and organisations that need help in getting a great idea off the ground are encouraged to apply for one of the City of Sydney’s latest round of grants and sponsorships.

Grants are being offered for cultural events, festivals, live music, night-time diversification, precinct activations, knowledge exchange, accommodation, art in the city, studios and rehearsal spaces, village and community festivals, local services, environmental projects, emergency support, street banner sponsorship, and more.

Support takes the form of funding or a related benefit such as reduced or waived hire costs on venues. The City is also offering help and tips in applying for grants through a callback service via the City Concierge team.

Applications for most grants and sponsorships close at 5pm on Monday April 11, 2022, although some (eg for street banners and affordable and diverse housing) are open year round.

If you have a great idea that will benefit the local Sydney community and would like to find out more, head here.
