What do you do all day at Time Out?As part of the Creative Solutions team, my role is all about brainstorming ideas for clients and writing fab content that our readers will love. How are you making the most of your time now Melbourne is out of lockdown?I’m catching up with friends and family, brunching at my favourite cafés and venturing further than my five-kilometre radius. What made you join Time Out?I’ve been a big fan of Time Out for years now, and when the opportunity popped up to apply for the Branded Content Writer role, I knew I had to go for it. Plus, I love travelling, eating, drinking and discovering new things to do in Melbourne, so to be able to combine all these really does make me feel like I’ve hit the job jackpot. What international destination will be your first to visit when the border restrictions ease?Europe – and in particular Italy, Portugal, Denmark and Sweden – for my delayed honeymoon. The things I would do for an Aperol Spritz and a huge bowl of pasta in Italy…Favourite bar, restaurant, neighbourhood in Melbourne?I spend a lot of time in Brunswick, Collingwood and Fitzroy, so places like Howler, Mr Wilkinson, the rooftop bar at the Cornish Arms Hotel, Dr Morse and Poodle are my go-to spots. If I’m feeling a bit fancy, I’ll head to Carlton Wine Room for a meal (the duck and pork croquettes are insanely good).Do you have a personal motto?Be kind, because you never know what other people are going through. Also, worry less – but that one’s a work in progress.A good story should have…A really snappy intro to lure readers in. Oh, and pictures of doggos (where appropriate). What are your top tips for how to get featured on Time Out?Any event, activation or product that’s a bit different, really fun, or that we haven’t seen before, will always get our attention.Plans this weekend?Belated birthday drinks! I’ve spent the last two birthdays in lockdown, so I’ll be making up for lost time with some close friends and a few cheeky cocktails.
